Seeing Bees’ Eggs – Dave Cushman (summer 2009)

I often hear the comment that individuals cannot see eggs in comb. A trip to the optician is called for, because normal eyesight, or properly corrected faulty eyesight, is more than adequate for viewing eggs. Insist that your optician gives you full correction for your eyes and you will have no trouble at all. If you can’t see eggs, you can’t see larvae that are small enough to graft.
